Description

Preparation for Confirmation at OLL is a communal journey exploring our Catholic faith. Jesus invites us to live life differently and build His Kingdom -- and ultimately, being Confirmed is about making an active choice to become a full member of the Church. The Holy Spirit gives us unique gifts through the Sacrament of Confirmation so that we can love God and our neighbor.

Our program is built around the idea of connecting with our faith in a very real way -- through Mass attendance, youth group participation (Life Teen), service projects, prayer, and peer connections.

September 27th: Registration Meeting, 3:30-4:30pm in the Parish Hall for parents and teens.

A COPY OF THE YOUTH'S BAPTISMAL CERTIFICATE IS REQUIRED!

Please contact the church where you were Baptized for a copy of your certificate if you do not have one.

$150 Fee per Teen (registered parishioner)

$175 for per Teen (not registered at OLL parish)

*NO TEEN IS EVER TURNED AWAY FOR LACK OF FUNDS. (Please contact Katie for more information on scholarships at katied@ollparish.com)

This fee covers cost of Life Teen materials, a Catholic Youth Bible, the Youth Catechism, guest speakers, snacks, and lesson materials & supplies, but does not cover the cost of off-campus events, such as Retreat or the Rise Up Rally.

If you sign up for Confirmation, you do not need to fill out Life Teen registration form also.

Please consider donating to the scholarship fund for another youth. We make it a priority that every youth who wants to register for confirmation and receive the sacrament is able to do so.
